ECA CIP

Clean-in-Place (CIP) is a method for cleaning the inner surfaces of pipes, containers, process equipment, filters and associated hardware, without separation.  Industries that are rely heavily on this are those that demand a high level of hygiene, such as the food and beverage processing industries. 

ECA CIP uses advanced, patented electrochemical activation technology to create solutions that are fast acting, broad spectrum detergent and biocidal.  It creates a coherent solution on demand and is used by those where it is necessary to eliminate microbial contamination in a wide range of food and beverage CIP applications.
 
The presence of bacteria and biofilm in food and drink treatment can result in pathogen cross contamination, defective products such as package swelling, reduced shelf life, taste, smell and texture.
